the kaymiester deluxe (olie kay) has got his website up and running can find him in my links for some first class honors graphic design.
i’m thinking i should actually put a proper website together, blog doesn’t quite look as nice as the real thing. just need to learn how to use dreamweaver again now.

t-shirt designing

morning people,

haven’t put anything up in a while, but had a few commissions in the last few days, so there’ll be some more lovely flyer work up soon.
also thought i’d enter a t-shirt comp, for the fame recognition and cold hard cash. please have a vote for my entry it’s at http://www.swishswosh.com/vote.php. my entry is called “the Raver” under the name bungodesign. check it out think i got a chance lot’s of lazy design on there, but also lots of nice things.

went to see spurs – barcalona at wembley yesterday, not an amazing performance but 1-1 in the end but wembley was pretty fantastico lucho diable, which is spanish for fantastic lucho diable

sunday

been a week or so, finished all work final show in 5 days, got no money, got to move out, find a new house and sort my life out.
had a nice little influx of work in the past 3 days though, just waiting for replies from various people, still chasing up people for payments aswell, apart from that bo-diddly-jangles.

dissertation and tutorial

at uni, picked up my dissertation, got a 3rd. sounds bad was very relieved and not to bothered as long as i passed, apparently they take your best mark over the 2 years anyway which was a 2-1, dunno if thats right, sceptical source. tutorial went alright though, tutor said i will pass the course, good stuff off the printers now.

all nighter

it’s just gone 5am in the morning, trying to stay awake doing work, got final hand in for degree in less than a week, and realised i should really start finishing all my work, last few months have been a bit of a slow rubber-neckin train wreck, reckon i’ll pass though. so should all be good. will find out in a month. get dissertation mark back tomorrow though.

nonce-sense

waiting for some inspiration to slap me in the face. also getting slightly frustrated at being owed money for a few months. been shafted twice before, the first time i just hassled the guy, then threatened to find out where he lives and personally collect the money, not in a tony montana type way, but just explaining it would be embarrassing for him if i had to turn up at his door and ask for the money which seemed to work. with the other guy i was told that i’d probably get shafted halfway through the design, did the whole design whilst waiting for a train though, so i didn’t really feel as bothered.
the money i’m trying to collect at the moment though is from another continent which makes the whole process slightly more tricky, just gonna keep hassling i reckon.

this is just one of the woes of being a small time designer. from now on i think i may start protecting myself a bit more, properly making invoices and asking for deposits for the bigger projects.
also been looking through a few other blogs and seeing people actually write huge paragraphs about “stuff” so think i may start doing that when i have something interesting to say, like this riveting entry.
or it’s just a good way to avoid work
