quite hungover today after an old fashioned lock-in at pub last night, but bought lots of summery fresh food for lunch, so feeling bit better. though long sleep is needed,

dubstep and kerning

couple new things, flyers for subsplash, the dubstep mayhem night was cancelled, so re-did it for the all out night.

also t-shirt design for the graphic design ravers out there. not soo angry this week, calmed down a bit, though give it a week and i’m sure i’ll be able to get that pissed off again.

star wars love

currently have no commissions at the mo, which means no income, but also means I can happily do my own work without feeling too guilty. here’s some new t-shirt designs,  based on star wars, bit of a cliche but turned out nicely i think, gotta give some credit to Mr. Bingo who’s an awesome illustrator and can draw hair amazingly which inspired the chewbacca design.

new illustration and meeting time

here’s new illustration, don’t really know what do with it yet, reckon it’d look nice as a big screenprint, shape of it doesn’t lend to a t-shirt too well. t-shirts on the mind at the mo constantly trying to design things that’d look good on a t-shirt.

It maybe cause I got an actual meeting with a clothes shop in Shoreditch regarding my t-shirt designs, not entirely sure what the meeting is for, just emailed them trying to flog some t-shirts, but they actually asked me to come down. all I know is I got to turn up with my portfolio, which I think currently has a small family of moths living in it. so think i’m gonna buy new A3 portfolio goto printers get all my newest designs/illustrations printed out nicely, buy new trousers, stripey jumper, cut the jew-fro off. bish bash bosh jobs a goodun.

more new tees, may have another person interested in stocking them, this time online site called http://www.afternoon-tee.co.uk website going live in summer, so hopefully have some printed up soon.

dunno why i didn’t think of this t-shirt before, was the catchphrase in our house for two years, usually directed at me though the name was always nicely interchangeable, so done two versions. one for everyone and one for people who know me, weirdly i think the one for people who know me will sell much better, if only for people just to try and annoy me.

hell’s people

New t-shirt design, idea I was toying with, had a view in my mind what i thought it would look like and it turned out pretty close to that, which doesn’t often happen.

I’m back on t-shirt drive at the mo, also decided to get big full time job, just designing was fun while it lasted but too stressful on the money side of things. If i can get a full time job i can afford to start getting my own work printed which has been the plan for a while, but wouldn’t have happened with what i’m earning at the moment.

t-shirt with the dub bot on, back on job hunt me thinks just need 1 day a week to keep me afloat, too stressful hassling people for money at the end of every month, back on t-shirt mission as well. really wanna get this one printed, may jus get one for myself, figure out the rest later. more designs coming soon.
